The Training Unit assures that all personnel within the Public Safety Department possess the necessary skills and abilities to safely and effectively deal with any emergency situation they might encounter. This responsibility begins the day the Public Safety employee is hired and continues throughout their careers.

The Training Unit provides ongoing training in Fire, Emergency Medical Services and Police functions. This is done through annual, quarterly, and required training to insure our personnel are up to date on the most current emergency response techniques. This enables them to respond safely and knowledgeably to any emergency.
