Babysitter Training

Are you interested in having your child, between the age of 11 through 14, attend a Red Cross Certified Babysitter Class? The cost of this class will be $55 and it will be on a Saturday from 9a.m till 3:30p.m. (Date to be announced) Participants will receive a certificate of completion and handbook. “Is our game or practice rained out”? This is a question asked of the Leisure Services Department almost daily, especially during the summer months. In an effort to make it even easier to answer this question, the Village of Palm Springs has set up a new hotline with field condition updates. Updates will be posted every half hour when a storm is approaching until a determination is made about the status of athletic activities. We hope you will find this new phone number helpful. Our regular office phone number of 964-8820 will still be available for other inquiries as well.
