Are you ready for some football???
Come join us for some football on Sunday, September 7, 2008. We will be traveling from Village Center to Dolphin Stadium for a catered tailgate party prior to watching the “Fish”. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
The cost is $65.00 per person and includes upper level game ticket, pre-game catered lunch and round trip coach transportation. Bus leaves at 9:30 a.m.
Space is limited to the first 50 people who register. Please contact the Leisure Services Department at 964-8820 for more information.
Project Teen: Fashionable Return...
Project Teen will begin again in September, and will be making a Fashionable Return! The group will continue to focus on fashion, due to the positive feedback from the fashion show. Teens will have a chance to learn to sketch designs and bring them to life by creating the garments. Teens ages 12 and up are welcome to attend. Experience is not necessary. The first meeting will be on, Monday August 25th at 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room. We will be discussing meeting dates and ideas as well as our next fashion show, which will take place in February.
2nd Annual Palm Springs Talent Show
If you have talent, prepare now! Palm Springs Leisure Services will be hosting the 2nd Annual Talent Show in November. All talents (family appropriate) and all ages are welcome to try out.

“Is our game or practice rained out”? This is a question asked of the Leisure Services Department almost daily, especially during the summer months. In an effort to make it even easier to answer this question, the Village of Palm Springs has set up a new hotline with field condition updates. Updates will be posted every half hour when a storm is approaching until a determination is made about the status of athletic activities. We hope you will find this new phone number helpful. Our regular office phone number of 964-8820 will still be available for other inquiries as well.
