After winning the American Water Works Association State Award for the Best Tasting Drinking Water in Florida in April of this year, Palm Springs went on for the first time ever to the Association\'s National Competition at San Diego, California in June, coming in 4th in the Nation! <br><br>Now Palm Springs has done it again! This month the Florida Rural Water Association, based in Tallahassee, Florida, held their Annual Conference and Competition in Daytona. Palm Springs came in again as the clear winner with the Best Water in Florida. By winning this competition, Palm Springs Water is automatically entered in the National Rural Water Association Competition to take place in Washington, D.C. in April 2010.<br><br> A representative from the Florida Rural Water Association will be coming to the Village Council Meeting on September 24, 2009, to present an award plaque to the Village Council and our Utilities Department Director, Bill Davis.
