Fire-Rescue Unit

Palm Springs Fire-Rescue Unit is comprised of State certified Firefighters-Paramedics/EMT’s trained and equipped to respond to all emergencies in our community. Fire-Rescue consists of three Advance Life Support rescue vehicles, two fully equipped fire engines, one 80’ aerial and a Command vehicle, which is also equipped with Advance Life Support equipment.

While our primary goal of the Fire-Rescue Division continues to be the provision of quality emergency response services, our priorities have expanded in recent years to the areas of education, prevention, and preparedness. Palm Springs strives to deliver the highest quality service by protecting our community through risk reduction, emergency response, and public services.

The Fire-Rescue Unit is also comprised of the Fire Marshal who is responsible for inspections of new structures and those deemed hazardous. He also investigates all fires that occur within the village.
