Village Council
 

The Village Council is comprised of five duly elected officials. The Village is divided into four districts, which are aligned every four years on the principle of equal representation, click here to download a district map. Council Members must reside in the district they wish to represent. The Mayor is elected at large. All officials are elected on a nonpartisan basis and serve two year staggered terms. Elections are held every year on the second Tuesday in March. If a candidate does not receive over 50% of the vote, a runoff election is held on the fourth Tuesday in March. Absentee ballots are available through the office of the Supervisor of Elections.

"The development of our Web site is another effort by the Village Council and Staff to better communicate with our residents regarding Village government and community issues.

This web page will enable Palm Springs residents to keep current on all aspects of Village government, including council meetings and agenda items, proposed legislation, community events, leisure programs and activities, Village Board meetings and agenda items."


Village Council Meetings are scheduled every 2nd and 4th Thursday
starting at 7:30pm in Council Chambers.
