This is an interactive parent and child program. It is required
that a parent be present at every practice. This program is designed
to get your child ready to participate in an organized sports program,
as well as to educate parents on youth sports. Each parent/child
group will be assigned a set of equipment. This set is to use at
the scheduled
practices and at home. The equipment
may be purchased from the Leisure Services Department at a cost of
$35. If not purchased, the equipment must be returned at the end
of the program.

This is a question asked of the Leisure Services Department
almost daily, especially during the summer months. In an effort
to make it even easier to answer this question, the Village of
Palm Springs has set up a new hotline with field condition
updates. Updates will be posted every half hour when a storm is
approaching until a determination is made about the status of
athletic activities. We hope you will find this new phone number
helpful. Our regular office phone number of 964-8820 will still
be available for other inquiries as well.
